Blogging Friendships

One of the many blessings that blogging offers, is the friendships that you may not otherwise had.

No matter where you live, the blog world brings together like minded people that somehow come full circle to form a community.

We laugh together. We cry together. We inspire one another.

And before you know it, a select few become a part of your life, touching your heart in ways they may never know.

Whether you’ve met in “real life” or not, it feels as though you’ve been friends for life.

I’ll never forget the outpouring of love and support I got last year when Chris and I seperated.

It’s this very community that helped me pull thru and not feel so alone during one of the darker times in my life. It was this community that offered me the opportunity to share my deepest and darkest feelings without feeling judged.

It’s been my therapy.

And there is one girl in particular that reached out to me at the perfect time. Just when I was certain I was the only person EVER to go thru such ugliness, Dani came into my life. Our lives were parallel. Soul sisters I tell you. We had the exact same fears. The exact same struggles. The exact same thoughts on being a single mom.

Not to mention this girl and I share a LOVE for personal style…Shopping dates are in our near future.

I got to meet Dani in real life last weekend while I was up in San Francisco for a training. It was so amazing to sit over a glass of wine and just gush. It was so amazing to dance our hearts out to 3rd Eye Blind and Marcy’s Playground (yes, it happened). It was so amazing to walk that line of mommy vs. fun. To be young, single, and free. To prove to ourselves from the depths of our soul that we still have it.

And have it do we ever…

I love you Dani! I’m so blessed to have you in my life. I feel forever grateful that our paths crossed when they did. I can’t wait for our next adventure.
